About Me
I am an artist and exhibition professional based in Kansas, working across studio art, exhibition management, and art preparation. My professional practice centers on the development, installation, and care of exhibitions, with experience spanning art handling, installation, packing and shipping, exhibition planning, lighting, and the realization of artistic and curatorial projects. My studio practice focuses on installation and material-based work that considers memory, perception, and the relationship between physical environments and lived experience. Through processes of cutting, layering, pattern-making, light, and spatial arrangement, I explore how our understanding of our environment both shapes and is shaped by a constant reconstruction of our memories and experiences. My work across both disciplines is informed by a hands-on approach to making and exhibiting art. Whether I am developing my own installations or working with another artist’s work, I am interested in how an idea changes once it enters a physical space, and in the practical decisions that shape how that work is ultimately experienced.
Mnemonic Resonances
Mnemonic Resonances is an ongoing series of hand-cut canvas installations that explores memory as a reconstructive process. Each new work takes shape on site, incorporating and repurposing materials from previous installations. As the project develops in new environments, the canvas grids are altered and rearranged, forming new relationships to each space the work inhabits. Light passes through the suspended forms, blanketing the environment in warped shadows that contrast with the physical forms from which they emerge. The work acknowledges remembering as an act of reconstruction. Using light, color, and repeated forms, each installation creates a sense of familiarity while remaining responsive to the conditions of our present surroundings.

In the studio
I’ve been working in art installation and exhibition design since 2020, in both collecting and non-collecting institutions, as well as a handful of private homes and other commercial venues. My experience encompasses art handling, including installation and de-installation, exhibition layout and design, mount fabrication, lighting, vinyl graphics installation, and gallery preparation. I enjoy working closely with artists, curators, and collectors to understand what an exhibition needs, then finding thoughtful, practical solutions that meet the needs of each project. For art handling and installation inquiries, email [email protected].
